Welcome to Boulder Valley Counseling!
You will find my style to be warm, humorous, direct, and effective in addressing a range of mental health conditions. My mode of therapy focuses on the present day. Though certainly life experiences impact current relationships and functioning, often clients find they feel better faster by learning effective strategies to cope with emotions in the current moment. Counseling does not have to be a life-long commitment. Frequently, my clients find they have met their goals after a brief series of meetings.
Counseling services are offered via video visits, through a HIPPA compliant, user friendly platform called Simple Practice.
Weekend and evening appointments are available.
Clients find I am helpful in addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, and stress management. Having worked in medical clinics, I am particularly able to assist with adjustment to physical health changes and new diagnoses.
You can expect to leave our visits with a plan and action steps that will help you feel hopeful and empowered, armed with strategies to feel better and improve your life.
